It's the principle we start from every time we design something: finding the essential solution, the one with nothing left to remove.
Three are also the phases that run through every project — analysis, design, production — and the perspectives that coexist within the team: technical, formal, visual. Three different viewpoints producing a result none of them would have reached alone.
Technical pedigree and background
Design maturity, industrial heritage
Trepunti was founded in 2021, but the experience behind it didn't start there.
The team's backgrounds vary, from Politecnico di Torino, IED, ESDAP, and UPC, to experience in industrial machinery, automotive design, interior architecture, and manufacturing R&D. Technical and creative backgrounds that balance each other in daily work rather than working against each other.
Founding a studio isn't starting from zero. It's choosing where to bring what you already know how to do.
The team members' professional paths have, over the years, earned some of the most significant recognitions in international industrial design.
Operating hubs, markets, and network
No intermediaries
We operate between Milan, Turin, and Barcelona, rooted in Northern Italy's manufacturing districts and active across the European market, with an established presence in Switzerland and the DACH region.
The people who receive the brief are the same people who do the work.
