The Method
From concept to production-ready files
Every project starts from its constraints: envelope dimensions, kinematics, forming technologies, and target costs. We don't overlay an aesthetic idea onto an existing mechanical layout; we develop the housing and interfaces in direct collaboration with your engineering team.
Operating guidelines
Feasibility, cost, and perceived value
• Design to Cost: We assess the impact of every bend radius, sheet metal thickness, or stamping operation before freezing geometries, reducing cycle times and assembly costs.
• CAD compatibility: We model surfaces to ensure full integration with your engineering department's design software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo).
• CMF Definition: Colors, surface finishes, and technical treatments are defined alongside the form to ensure visibility and durability in the most demanding industrial environments.

Phase 01 - ANALYSIS & CONCEPT
Listening to the supply chain and setting project direction
It always starts with listening. We meet with the R&D technical team, the people who install and assemble the machinery, and, where possible, the end users. We analyze the current product, competitors, and available production technologies to develop 3D concepts grounded in real constraints, functionality, and machine architecture.
-
Technical kick-off and analysis of the current product
-
Meetings with assemblers, maintenance staff, and end users
-
Competitor benchmarking and technical constraint mapping
-
3D design exploration and proposal definition
-
Progress meetings with management and engineering

Phase 02 - FORMAL & MATH-DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT
3D modeling, ergonomics, and virtual prototyping
Once the formal direction is set, we move to detailed 3D modeling. From the outset, we integrate access points, maintenance zones, the operator interface (HMI), and production feasibility. Through pre-engineering work, we generate 3D surfaces and "skins" modeled on real R&D constraints, easing integration into corporate CAD software and the transition to production.
-
3D surface modeling (STEP / IGES)
-
Operator ergonomics assessment
-
CMF definition (Colors, Materials, Finishes)
-
Ongoing alignment with in-house engineering teams
-
3D rendering for visual prototyping

Phase 3 - INDUSTRIALIZATION & MARKETING
Production and marketing support
We support the project throughout the entire production process: adapting the design to supplier capabilities, verifying physical samples, and overseeing art direction to ensure perceived quality and budget are met. We provide access to our network of selected manufacturing partners for housing development. In parallel, we develop the product's Digital Twin: a package of high-resolution photorealistic renders for marketing, catalogs, and trade show materials, combined with immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experiences for 1:1 scale ergonomic evaluation and commercial pre-sales.
