Hydrojet
VIREA HydroJet is a manual high-pressure metal parts washer developed as a reinterpretation of an established product type, with the goal of bringing greater formal consistency and perceived quality to a typically technical product. The project takes similar-category machines as a reference point, reorganizing their architecture and interface into a more compact, legible, and contemporary solution.
Based on an enclosed-cabin washing system with a high-pressure circuit, HydroJet integrates a manual gun for targeted cleaning operations, ensuring direct control over the work area. The configuration includes a containment tank, fluid recirculation, and filtration, optimizing consumption and operational continuity in industrial applications.

From a formal standpoint, the design respected and enhanced the product's constructive logic: the structural use of stainless steel guided the definition of the geometries, turning the material's intrinsic characteristics into a clean, coherent aesthetic language. The volume is built from a system of inclined planes and facets that articulate the surface in a continuous, cohesive way. The upper band — a structural element that integrates the opening handle and glove anchoring — is made of injection-molded polymer with a custom texture, while the control area is finished in black anodized aluminum: both introduce a targeted color and material contrast that visually isolates the interaction zones from the machine's steel body, making the functional reading immediate.
